Midnight Club: LA Remix (PSP Games)

The last PSP version of Midnight Club, Dub Edition, was plagued with frame rate problems, insanely long load times, and hammy acting during its crummy story bits. The only issue that remains in its newly released sequel, LA Remix, is the duration of the loading screens. Actually, there are still some over-the-top trash-talking and too-extreme-for-you characters, but the thin story serves its purpose to motivate you to demolish the competition. With its big list of varied vehicles, a substantially sized city, and great visuals, Midnight Club: LA Remix is a surprisingly dense PSP game. Remix is packed to the brim with hours of intensely fast racing as well as addictive aesthetic and performance upgrades, making for a well-rounded racing experience. Its crushing difficulty will have you agonizingly restarting races during anything tougher than the easy-rank challenges as you arduously advance through a slow career--but even that won't deter you from having a good time behind the portable wheel.

Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines (PSP Games)

Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines doesn't get it. On the surface, it offers many of the features you'd want from an Assassin's Creed game on the PSP. It puts you in control of Altair, the first game's nimble protagonist, and sends you on a mission to assassinate your Templar enemies, who are equally eager to plunge their swords into you. If you delve a little deeper, however, you'll find that Bloodlines skimps on what makes the console games so special. The joy of rooftop running has been diminished by flawed platforming and smaller environments, bustling cities have been replaced by barren districts on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, and AI problems render the stealthy approach all but irrelevant. Bloodlines still delivers the brief bloody thrills you get from a well-timed counterattack, but on the whole, it is a neutered and unsatisfying adventure.

Resistance: Retribution (PSP Games)

A new section in the epic PlayStation 3 franchise, Resistance: Retribution takes on a third-person viewpoint in the ongoing battle with the Chimera. Set in the weeks after Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance: Retribution pursues the article of previous British Marine James Grayson. After a individual tragedy -- he is compelled to murder his own male sibling interior a Chimeran alteration center – Grayson proceeds on a vendetta to decimate every alteration center he can find. Eventually Grayson discovers that his efforts have been futile ... in Western Europe the Chimera have developed a new procedure of altering humans to aliens.

The European opposition recruit Grayson's help, and he connects Cartwright and Parker in Operation Overstrike. The conflict to retake the European countries has begun.
